How It Works
The Safe is an encrypted vault built into Shortcut. You store your API keys and tokens once, and from that point on you can reference them by name in any conversation. The agent calls the API on your behalf but never sees the actual credentials.
Keys are encrypted at rest and in transit. They are scoped per team — admins decide which APIs are available to which members. Revoking access is instant.

Shortcut resolves “EIA” to your saved API key, fetches the data, and populates your spreadsheet — all without exposing the key to the model.
